    Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has threatened to close “all other export corridors that benefit the US and its allies”, Iranian media reported, after Iran shut the Strait ​of Hormuz and the US reimposed a naval blockade of Iranian ports. “Regional energy exports are either shared by all, or denied to all,” the IRGC said in a statement carried by Iran’s IRNA state news agency on Wednesday. So , what are the US military doing? Not exactly putting boots on the ground are they .

No , they’re indiscriminately bombing infrastructure and trying to dismantle the core . That’s known as strategic warfare ; hence the Iranians are attacking the Achilles heel of the US and global system - the Strait .

Would you prefer they take it onto US soil and initiate guerilla warfare ?

All I'm saying is, they always chant death to America, but end up being the first to coward behind blockades. Like how are blockades death to America? They had a peace deal! Then blew it up themselves. Themselves. They should be the one paying for the consequences. Not blockades paying for the consequences of THEIR ACTS

That’s quite a distortion of the facts.

It was the US that attacked them , if I recall correctly . It was the US that shattered the peace ; kinda like they did in Venezuela, after bad mouthing Canada, threatening Cuba and saying they’ll invade Greenland .

Now, tell me again who the aggressor is .

The Iranians will play the long game, that’s their Modus operandi .

I am not denying the fact that US is the aggressor. All I'm saying is, there was a peace deal. And we as traders were all happy because we can finally trade. Next thing you know, Iran hit 2 ships. Out of nowhere, shattering the peace deal. They should leave waterways alone honestly. They hit the ship. They should pay for the consequences on their own. No need to involve waterways

Ok , I understand your angle; however the Iranians understand the strategic importance of the waterway and intend to control it to their advantage and on their terms .

The protocol was in place until Trump piped up stating his terms . So it’s not all as cut and dried as you make out

Yes, you are right. But my point is, waterways should be left out of this. They broke the peace deals. They face it like men. Not coward behind waterways. Cuz us traders are getting tired of our SLs behind hit because of pure cowardice
