I understand the feeling. Also understand that interest rate Usd is also mandated to be high against JPY.

Most times one red jpy is just a candle bearish that the FED allowed.

Think of it as the market reading between the lines. Japan has a history of stepping in when the yen gets too weak, so even mentioning intervention can be enough to shake up the market before any actual action is taken

It's true we need to be vigilant because it has risen too much and is already on a list of anomalies that could lead to a large move according to my indicator, so I'm placing a bearish position on USD/JPY and a bullish position on JPY/USD.

Some of you guys think the intervention is bullshit. Could they just be positioning at different levels when they can because they need a large amount of liquidity? If you disagree then you should simply buy usd/jpy and stop complaining. I know usd/jpy will drop 500+ pips the moment you buy just so you can complain some more. Good luck

for June and now, every other central bank is closing eyes to make USD strong. Why. if USD dollar is strong, it reduces import costs and hopefully USA inflation can come down and a hike for the fed is not needed. that's why every country is closing eye now on the strong USD.

Japan unlikely to make any big intervention now.... they also hope the strong USD can bring USA inflation down and stop the fed from hiking.
