Iran warns of 'consequences' for Israeli strikes in Lebanon
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei (pictured) condemned the latest Israeli attacks in Lebanon on Friday, claiming that there will be "serious and immediate consequences" for Israel's "continued war-making on regional peace and security." The Iranian spokesperson also stated that the United States bears "direct responsibility" for the attacks and referred to the recently signed memorandum of understanding, which indicated that the ceasefire in Lebanon was an "integral" part of the agreement between the US and Iran.
