You really have to consider the bigger picture . If the ‘ greatest army in the world ‘ ( not my words ) had the capacity to resolve this situation militarily ; then quite simply put , why haven’t they ?

Sending multiple aircraft carriers to the region , thousands of troops etc , why do they then have to back off after operation Fury and come to the negotiating table, it’s illogical from a military perspective .

Once an advantage is gained in any conflict , it’s compounded and used as leverage . Any military strategist would tell you this , negotiating from a position of strength gives leverage and reinforces the advantage and narrative. It’s nonsensical to back off and open diplomatic channels irrespective of the blockade .
