He fails to mention that the outcome of inflation, even if it ceases completely, is permanent. But fear not, everyone should overcome permanent hard times - perhaps with a little bit of extra medication.

Biden did not cause covid inflation. It was in-fact "transitory". It never returned to pre-covid levels, however. That's another argument. Most likely still "transitory" effects from Trump Tariffs 1.0 (2018-2019). chew on that jerky like irony. harhar

The transitory meme came from Yellen, who testified before Congress, stating that inflation from passing Biden's stimulus bill would be "transitory".

transitory or temporary inflation would mean you'd have months/years with deflation. That's just a politicians way of getting away with murder. The worst thing they can do to their population is absorb any sort of prolonged inflation because we all know unless there is some major crisis it will be permanent. It may go back to 2% in a month, but that excess is absorbed by everyone.
