Well, none of his buddies made ANYTHING off this latest round (at least not yet) since the markets are closed and no one "knows" how they will open as things stand now.

That said, these types of mixed messages have continuously caused equities to move 1.5% up, 0.5% back....best thing to happen to equity markets has been the "hope" of a deal.

Every few days, we get a 3-5% bump, then a small pullback when 'no deal yet, but soon' is announced. The grind higher has been relentless. I've been awaiting a "sell the news" moment, but this has been "buy the rumor" for 6 weeks+.

IG weekend markets have low liquidity, and, therefore, cannot be fully trusted. But, for a sentiment gauge, you can see where things stood after the close Friday through this news. From down 0.4% to up 1.8% to up 0.7%.

Crude saw similar moves: down as much as ~7.5%. Now clawing some back.

This deal is waaaaay worst then the JCPOA for murika - this orange skinny fat moron managed to hasten the empires downfall by decades due to his foolishness!

- pre-war capacity although will remove pressure on energy prices (Iran's leverage) it does benefit Iran in terms of revenue stream - this revenue stream will compensate Iran for war damages which murika will obviously never pay....

murika could never agree to pay compensation because that would open a can of worms for many regions and countries to require the same if a precedent was set - murika picked the "lesser shit" option - the only bad part in all this is some (not all) innocent countries will pay for murikas foolishness, which hopefully Iran can manage properly by giving them exemptions - especially south east asian countries which have been friends with our region like Malaysia etc.

Oil again surging higher, gold and silver are going lower along with crypto.

When market opens, yields are going to surge higher, again.


At this point, this is becoming criminal. Also DOJ's investigation of Axios should pick up the pace. At least 7 false claims (as far as we know currently) about US and Iran peace agreement were flushed out by Axios.

Oh definitely have my longer term s&p 500 just let it ride portfolio. You’ll never lose on that factoring swings of the market through the decades and what not.


Forex for the most part has become very liquid in all these swings so I guess the extra volatility is just more opportunities for us. I care not to fight against it any longer and have to remind myself emotions aside if you’re trying to stay profitable.

Yeah, I am still "fighting" and have the negative returns over the past month to prove it. Yearly looks okay, but if only I would stop trying to outsmart this thing. Just accepting the fact that, until the semi bubble bursts, markets are going to fly higher would net so much more $$.

Why would Trump rush to make a deal that would be more beneficial to Iran? Before the war, the only requirement was to stop the nuclear program. Now, in exchange for opening Hormuz, Trump has to offer to release sanctions and assets, which before the war could have been the cards to stop the nuclear program. Now, will he release all his cards just to open Hormuz? So the war has made Trump's position more difficult, while costing insane resources...

What people still do not understand is that this deal is just an extension of the cease fire signed in early April which was for 60 days. This one is also for 60 days. So, even after signing this deal, we are back into long negotiations, and every day Trump will be tweeting his normal nonsense false statements, which in turn spook the market! We are really back to square one.
For traders: Do not expect quite market for trading any time soon. Instead expect a continuation of this spooky market.
