Oil prices fell by the widest margin in more than a month on Wednesday after President Trump said the United States is in the “final stages” of reaching a deal with Iran, and several tankers moved to transit the Strait of Hormuz. Futures on Brent crude, the international benchmark, lost roughly 4.6% to trade slightly above $106 per barrel, while those on US WTI crude fell 4.3% to trade below $100.
