There’s plenty of options open to the US to force Irans hand ; outside of boots on the ground that is . It’s now a war/diplomatic game of attrition .

Ultimately Iran loses , however not without inflicting chaos across the globe and Middle East . It all depends how the US want to play this strategic manoeuvring position .

They’re not actually at polar opposites , both are jockeying for leverage with the daily power plays and announcements.

End the cease fire. Iran only responds to actions, and will keep stalling. Wipe out the radical IRGC and Mullahs, only then will Iran exist as a normal country, like they did pre-1979.
