"Hit my SL". The price has moved around 10 pips, not 100 pips. You are trading against algorithm designed to hunt you down and you put SL 5 - 10 pips...

I don't understand. Of course, you can trade like that if you have a good risk management, but it's obvious that many do not.

Have you folks thought about trading higher TFs? You don't actually have to be glued to the screen all the time, and the bonus with higher TFs is that almost no news will hit your SL. Think about it for a while... I had the best results with D1 TF. It's what professionals do to avoid algorithm.

i totally agree with you I have been on the 5 - 15 - 30 TF and it's so much stressing, I switched to higher TF for 3 weeks now, and it's absolutely amazing. i can say it is so much boring, but a win is a win .

Actually the price moved 18.2 pips i placed my sl on 12pips and tp 40pips so after the price stopped me out he run to my tp hahaha its just not for me today i hope tomorrow gonna be good

You'll learn soon that this is going to happen very often. You get the direction right, however price first arrives at your SL and only then moves in a direction you thought it would go. This is why I am suggesting to you to move to higher TFs with bigger SL and TP. You'll have fewer trades yes, but news like this won't be able to hit your SL. If you got a direction right, then price will hit your TP. You can leave the ratio the same. So, you are using 3/1 TP/SL ratio as far as I can I see.

Assuming you're using 2% risk per trade, you have the following system:

10/10 = +60% of the account equity
9/10 = +52%
8/10 = +44%
7/10 = +36%
6/10 = +28%
5/10 = +20%
4/10 = +12%
3/10 = +4%

With this system you need 3 out of 10 profitable trades to be profitable.

Since the percentage is high due to 3/1 and if you risk 2% = SL per trade, you really don't need that many trades monthly, so going to higher TFs is highly advisable. We're not trading on the market where supply/demand reigns, we are actually trading against the algorithm designed to hunt us down. The higher the TF, the lower the chance that the algorithm will hit your SL, because it then has to move beyond 50 to 100 pips on the news to get to your SL. Give it a try on demo first if you have to.

politics - british politics at this time at least - is no longer conservatives vs liberals, but between establishment against the outsiders, the elite vs the unwashed mass. voters are fed up with mainstream pols. this will strengthen democracy as the elites being flushed and prevent it from becoming oligarchy. but on the other hand it also presents challenge in the form of heightened uncertainty.
