    Two U.S. Navy destroyers had transited the Strait of Hormuz to begin mine-clearing operations in the vital waterway, U.S. Central Command said Saturday. The destroyers crossed through the Strait and operated in the Arabian Gulf, CENTCOM said on social media. Additional U.S. forces, including underwater drones, will "join the clearance effort in the coming days," CENTCOM said. The operation came as President Trump said on Truth Social on Saturday that the U.S. was doing "a favor to Countries all over the world" by clearing mines from the strait. This pallet load of cash narrative is hasbara BS!

The cash have always been Iran's, it was just stolen by murika.

This current money which is in the focus(not related to the ship) is money Iran had earned through oil sales to South Korea and other nations, which was seized when drumpf pulled out of the JCPOA in 2018.

However, Iran and the Biden admin made an agreement to release spies captured by Iran and hostages kidnapped by murika or on behalf of murika, Iran released 5-6 spies and murika released 2-3 hostages in early 2023, part of the deal was the release of the 6 billion seized from South korea, which had be sent to Qatar and was about to be released - then Operation Al-Aqsa flood happened in october 2023 and the biden admin broke the agreement and refused to release the money.
