The euro climbed toward $1.15 as markets leaned more hawkish on ECB policy despite the bank holding rates steady. Bundesbank President Joachim Nagel’s signal that a rate hike could come as early as April if inflation worsens has reinforced expectations of further tightening.

Rising energy prices linked to the Iran conflict remain a key driver, increasing the risk of renewed inflation across the eurozone. While the ECB continues to take a cautious, meeting-by-meeting approach, markets are now pricing in additional hikes this year, supporting the euro’s recovery.

For EUR/USD, the initial resistance is seen at 1.1610, while the closest support is positioned at 1.1530.
