AFP Protección becomes second Colombian pension fund entering Bitcoin
One of Colombia’s largest pension funds is preparing to launch a Bitcoin investment fund with restricted access for qualified investors. AFP Protección, Colombia’s second-largest private pension and severance fund administrator, is getting ready to introduce an investment fund that includes exposure to Bitcoin. As Protección SA President Juan David Correa told local outlet Valora Analitik, access to the product will be granted exclusively through a personalized advisory process designed to assess each investor’s risk profile.
