Your peace deal with Russia would be a death sentence. Russia would send Ukrainians to fight against NATO next. Not much choice if you want to save your family.

This, unfortunately, is a low point for Zelensky. Europe is literally keeping its ass alive. Resorting to the same manoeuvres to criticise Europe just to please the American administration, which turned its back on him.
He needs to learn to be more grateful to countries that are bending over backwards because of his conflict.
This is not gratitude; this is lecturing. I wouldn't be surprised if this backfires on him.

Semantic arguments.
The actual debate here is One power taking over another and there are no other higher power to stop the injustice.
On deeper levels, if there is another power who has the capabilities to stop it, has its own best interest not to get involved unless otherwise that it will benefit them. If not, turning a blind eye is the only efficient solution (logically, not morally nor ethically).

Humanity (as a group or as a system) has multiple personalities;
Do you sacrifice everything your have (including your life) in order to stop the injustice (without a thought of consequences).
Or...
You don't, because your first priority is your own family first. If you die or lost a lot of resources for someone else at the expense of your own family, losing you and losing your family's safeguard. Are you willing to sacrifice your own family's interest over someone else's?

Its easy to criticize the dead.
Its easy to criticize those who chose safety.
At the end of the day, the wise action is to shut your mouth beyond the lack of your own intelligence.
