In real life, management matters. If the company you work for has bad management, the company will do poorly despite a solid economy. The opposite is true regardless of excuses. Many, many corporate examples come to mind.

Let's do an apples to apples comparison between Biden and Trump, year ONE, on this statement.

According to this article, Trump has done a serious disruption to the economy and global commerce. But when I go to the store, the only products missing are...nothing. There's been no visible disruption.

Now, let's do Biden. There was a plethora of products missing from the shelves (and we won't address the toilet paper scare that firmly put bidets in the homes of millions) in every store. Your counter argument will be Covid but even that was lame. A complete mismanagement of supply lines was shown as incompetent as the troop withdrawal from Afghanistan. And before you attempt to defend the policies of the Covid regime, remember this now famous meme, "Imagine a vaccine so safe you have to be threatened to take it for a disease so deadly you have to be tested to know you have it".
