Michael Burry likens Bitcoin to tulip mania, slams $100K valuation
“The Big Short” investor Michael Burry has once again aimed at Bitcoin (BTC), calling the cryptocurrency “the tulip bulb of our time” during a recently-aired podcast hosted by The Big Short author Michael Lewis. Burry, who famously predicted the 2008 housing market crash, told Lewis that Bitcoin’s surge to $100,000 is “the most ridiculous thing” he has seen. “ It’s worse than a tulip bulb,” Burry said.
