Vietnam jails dozens in US$3.8 billion online gambling and crypto case
A Vietnamese court has sentenced four siblings and dozens of others in a transnational online gambling and crypto case involving US$3.8 billion in transactions, state media said on Thursday (Sep 25). Members of the ring, run by four Vietnamese siblings, were charged with organising and participating in online gambling between early 2020 and late 2021 when they were busted by police, the Ho Chi Minh City's Law newspaper reported.
