MicroStrategy buys 850 Bitcoin for $99.7 million
MicroStrategy Incorporated, doing business as Strategy, acquired another 850 Bitcoin for approximately $99.7 million in the week between September 15 and September 21, according to the company's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing released on Monday. The company bought Bitcoin at an average price of $117,344 per coin, including fees and expenses. Following this purchase, Strategy and its subsidiaries now hold 639,835 Bitcoin, acquired at an aggregate price of about $47.33 billion, or around $73,971 per Bitcoin.
