And ppl still would have lost jobs. Like everyone is saying, lower rates don't mean ppl will be hired. Nobody takes loans on self/company to pay for salaries. They would rather reduce workforce and save money, then take loans to increase business. Specially Small caps with lower cash flow before rate cuts. U would see the pain more in those sectors.

To get to the real point of all of this, Japan said the $550B would be in Loans and Guarantees. They said this 2 months ago when the deal was initially made. And they repeated that again few hours ago when Trump said 90% of profits would go to USA. Now at 4% interest rates for the long term, Japan would happily write the loan right now. I mean who wouldn't. US bonds are great for longer term, short term pain bcoz of the Orange. By 90% profits, Trump means to get Japanese loan at 2% or even lower. And that's why he is attacking the Fed. If he told Japanese to give the loan right now at 2%, they would laugh in his face bcoz they could loan that to the Open Market, to any rando and would not bat an eye on economic loss from tariffs. Think, why would Trump not take the loan right now when he knows he has to pay interest on older loans by the end of this year. He is forcing the Fed to lower rates, then take that loan from Japan.

Same thing with the EU. And also maybe get them to renew their older debt at the newer rates. Japan was trigger happy to sell that 1Trilly Bonds they hold. EU wouldn't sell bcoz that would need another conference so not that instant buy if Japan had sold that time, EU would have been next. The Chinese have money to lend but Trump knows thats a debt trap. With Japan and EU, it's an agreement, an understanding and not a trap.

Biggest bubble? Bubbles are created with too loose financial conditions. Do you mean that conditions over past several years have been too loose (so, the rate is too low)? Why should the Fed decrease the rate now if it is too low already? ))
