The same cannot be said about the President, who is appealing the ruling, of course.

I'm also not sure how you can unequivocally state that all the comments about the issue are clueless, but it's your right to believe what you will, I suppose.

Let's NOT be naïve though: the FED is being targeted. Pure and simple. Or, at least, that is what the White House would have you believe based on all of the President's commentary on the subject. There's no broad statement of "we're rooting out corruption in all of our government agencies. The FED is putting up a fight (in the President's eyes) with respect to rates, and Trump will do what he can to get what he wants.

Yes, well, with a White House like this one -- relentlessly pursuing honesty and truth at all time -- we certainly can't abide someone who has been "credibly accused" of lying. Now that we understand the President's strong feelings about lying, we can all take comfort in knowing that no one in this Administration has ever, or will ever, tell an untruth. Especially concerning real estate.

Exactly what is said above, she was not elected. An appointed person can be removed by the president for cause. Removing an elected official is 100% a completely different thing.

The comments, including yours, keep making comparisons to Trump. That has no relevance whatsoever, it’s like comparing Cook to Epstein. They have nothing to do with each other. Thus is a legal case, not a perception of an elected person. Adam Schiff is accused of the same, but he can’t get simply fired like am appointed person, that’s the law.

Any mention of Trump with regard to Trump is ridiculous, she either broke the law or didn’t. Trump taking advantage of the situation for political reasons is completely irrelevant to her case, that’s a case of public opinion after the fact. Also, do some research into the legal cases against Trump. Most were obviously rigged and are being overturned, not that it had any relevance to Cook’s. This is straightforward law, forget everything except whether or not she broke the rules, bringing anything else into means you are hopelessly biased.

No one cares about the 30 year, virtually nothing is priced off it.
Look at the ten year and below, game over, Trump is getting exactly what he wants. Just like he got what he wanted and humiliated the other countries, not to mention Powell was forced to admit he was wrong about tariff inflation. You can hate Trump all you want, but he is doing what he said he would do. The people that voted for him are not complaining, why would he care what people who hate him think?

The problem is that none of us (including this president of all matters?) know how Dr. Lisa Cook's hiring process went at the time. So, we'll have to wait and see. The fact remains that Don Trump's recent attacks on American institutions and officials, in order to amass more power, are bad for the American economy and the American people (MAGA, will turn out MASA -small- or MAPA -poor-), with the exception of the small circle of this president's loyalists who benefit from exclusive priveleges and will enrich themselves at the expense of the remaining 99.99% of Americans. That's how dominant autocrats always operate to stay in power. Look at Russia for exemple. Putin is by far the richest man in the country and one of the richest men in the world. Why this matters? Let Putin be a shining example for Trump, and you know where this is going.
