tax cuts and handouts will last for a short while only . What they need to do to revive the economy besides exports, tourism is to have a stable currency . Can't understand what BOJ and MOF are doing. Even 3rd world countries have raised rates over the past few years and kept their currency stable. These countries do not keep talking about wages as Ueda has been doing.

Ueda stop talking about nex year's wage talks. Start talking about raising rates again this year , to safe yen from dropping so much. The moment you open your big fat mouth, yen drops. If yen was not so low , you need not even worry about wages anymore. The moment yen rises, imports will be cheaper. It looks like you need lessons in economics

What ever strength yen had the past few days are being erased already due to Ueda's speech. When is this yen weakness going to end? A safe haven currency, now toilet paper.
