There’s a lot of criteria which is unknown- agreed .


Look at the location highlighted on the map .

Location:
The location of the seismic event can also be a factor. Nuclear tests are often conducted in specific, known locations, while earthquakes can occur anywhere.
Time of day:
While not a definitive factor, the time of day can sometimes be relevant, as nuclear tests are typically conducted during specific operational windows.
Frequency content:
The frequency content of the seismic waves can also provide clues, with explosions often having a different frequency spectrum than earthquakes.

There’s a lot of coincidences if that’s the case . No one knows the quantity of material enriched . There’s lots of evidence to suggest they’re close, if not already there .

Why would Israel suddenly divert resources to Iran at such speed , taking everyone by surprise , including governments . There intel is generally very reliable .

Of course , this is all conjecture .

Iran has been stonewalling the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) for quite some time now, limiting inspections, cutting off access to surveillance footage, and even blocking inspector visits. If they truly had nothing to hide, why take the risk of provoking an attack or even an invasion?

It wouldn't be the first time a country tried to use ambiguity as a tool of intimidation, but this feels like more than that. Even directly threatening the U.S. only makes sense if they feel secure. And why would they feel that way?
I think they are very close to having a nuclear bomb if they don’t already and that’s why they feel so confident.

Defending capabilities does not necessarily require nuclear capabilities. Having nuclear weapon does not necessarily provide you with the national security you need.
We are already witnessing how nuclear is losing the purpose of its destructive power. Despite that the world is full of crazy dictators, the common sense level is still high and people understand that starting a nuclear war is pure suicide for the entire humanity.
We have seen countries like Israel and Russia being attacked by another country and despite having nuclear weapons they still do not use them to defend themselves. Why? Because even the craziest people understand that using nukes will be the last thing they do. This is how the nukes will gradually lose the purpose of having them.

Perspective :

They were close enough to enrichment that it required quick and direct action from Israel .

Seismic movements in tectonic plates would have been more extensive .

I would guess they’re pretty close to what’s suggested ie - testing .

Where it goes from here is anyone’s guess .

Let's not spread TOO much fear. Iran is prone to earthquakes (humbling near plates). 120 mag 1.5 or greater in the last year. Could it be underground testing? Maybe...but, it could also be coincidence.

Conversely, if you do have a bomb, and want to use it, I doubt you test it under these circumstances. Yes, possession usually acts as a deterrent to action against you, but in Iran's case one has to believe A) confirming possession does ZERO to stop the "world" from immediately invading should they detect/suspect the test. B) why waste the limited enriched product you do have?

Let's all hope this conflict ends ASAP to avoid loss of life on all sides (including those countries not yet involved).

If I'm not mistaken, before the Sunday meeting between Iran and the US, Israel attacked two days before. And the Iranian negotiating team is dead. Now it makes sense to me to compare Gaza to the earth and to kill Hezbollah. Those were just preparations for all this that is happening now.

They know they can’t win in a fight. Diplomacy is their only choice. At least now the world knows Iran is a lot weaker than they pretend to be, so when they continually make threats against others, everyone will know they are nothing but a paper tiger. It would have been good for the world to get a new moderate government, but Taco will prevent the US from doing anything serious.

Not sure where the US intervention viewpoint comes from. Trump seems to be pretty clear that the last thing he wants is involvement. Maybe support Israel in a proxy war, but certainly no real involvement. Everything he has said and done points to a deal, not US involvement. I’d say Iran would have to go way out of its way to refuse all negotiations for Trump to act in any way.
