Total assets on the Fed’s balance sheet fell by $33 billion in March, to $6.72 trillion, the lowest since May 6, 2020, according to the Fed’s weekly balance sheet today. Since the end of QE in April 2022, the Fed’s balance sheet has declined by $2.24 trillion, or by 25%.
