Finland and Sweden, two neutral neighbors with long borders with Russia, driven into NATOs arms in the face of this this mindless aggression against a sovereign European nation. IMHO, An epic and colossal miscalculation. 10s of '000 dead, millions displaced and impoverished, turmoil with in Russia itself with all the global dangers of consequences of Russian destabilization.

What freaking idiots the West is with THIS move! The USA "claims" to be worried about China stealing technology and NOW we are sending the most sophisticated US tanks (along with Germany) to the corrupt Ukraine - oh don't forget the BILLIONS already sent there.

It WAS stupid of Russia to do what they did - they miscalculated.

What THIS moves does is basically GIVE technology to the battlefield where it will be "lost" and Russia AND China will get their hands on this.

Just wait till we start talking about tactical nukes. Why not? Isn't that next step in escalation?

Total misunderstanding about the technology being "exposed".
There is NO risk in exposure of sensitive "Top Secret" technology in either Abrams or Leopard2 versions being supplied. No 4th gen MBT technology being exposed. Complete hysteria.
On the contrary, the exposure of these systems to real battlefield operations will provide invaluable data for both Abrams and Leopard development.

you are starting to get confused, dear. neither is the leo 2 a "tiger" (i think you talk about the "königstiger" or "tiger 2" which had taken out 1:34 t34 during ww2) but the t34 was easier to build, so red army had more than 100:1), something they cannot match atm. + russian army is not defending home territory, a big minus. they are invading, so they will lose. +they have poor tactics, while ukrainian army is flexible and knows of combined forces.
