I did trade Bitcoin back in the day. I was in the first wave of people to buy BTC on the open market (rather than mining it), back before Mt Gox. I held for almost a decade, but I never married the bich, and never prayed to Satoshi. Dumped my last stash at $55K, like a G.

I heard this professor on CNBC today say that The Boring company has "lived up to its name".

I'm so glad to be out of DOGE. That thing was torturing me. It's the trade that showed me I don't have what it takes to trade memes.

My dignity is the only thing I lost, actually. Over the years I made about $50K from DOGE, but squandered something like a million bucks. My saga is documented here and my exit is here.

I hear that. Turns out crypto isn't a viable trading strategy for me either. I called BTC, but that was a long term investment from the beginning. My track record trading crypto is meh at best. I don't even feel comfortable keeping money on an exchange for more than 24 hours, and I'm talking before this year's blowups. Markets like forex are a lot easier to trade, from tighter spreads to better platforms to more funds security. Crypto will get there eventually. Forex was pretty trash twenty years ago and look at it now. One of the fairest and safest markets for a retail trader to make a buck.
