Its likely FED balance sheet will reach around $10 trillions in the near future and I wonder what will be the ensuing status of dollar as an international reserve currency. Are americans ready for a gold backed currency to preserve their wealth?

I wonder what’s the status of dollar going to be after all these waves of recession, which I believe are going to be plenty because the pandemic is nowhere near slowing down. For it to completely backtrack and let people again get jobs and engage productively in their businesses, might take a couple of years. Not being a pessimist here, but even after the problem is over, its aftermath and tremors can be felt till long after.
