- Biography:
- I first started trading back in the late 1970's as a part-time trader of stocks. As time went by I got involved in the Commodity Markets.
Several fellows I knew through my construction business decided to join forces and trade the Commodity Markets together. I did well in the grains but the meats were my downfall. I just could not figure out the game with cattle. Eventually we dissolved our Corporation for trading the markets on very good and equitable terms and remain friends to this day.
As my construction company grew my time for trading shrank and eventually left the markets entirely.
In 2011 I once again found time to start trading part-time. I was interested in trading options when I happened upon Forex. The Forex market intrigued me.
As a great many retail traders do, I started at Baby Pips.com. From there I went to Forex Factory and several other Forms. Since Forex trading part-time can be somewhat solitary I decided to pursue different paid subscriptions with other traders. For the most part these subscriptions were not beneficial, not worth my time, and especially not worth the cost. The one exception was trading with Dean Malone at CompassFX. I found Dean and the majority of his subscribers to be not only serious traders but also informative, knowledgeable, helpful, and above all friendly and enjoyable to chat with.
I very much like to read and study the Forex Factory Threads for their different perspectives on trading the markets. For the most part I can almost always find something of value in each of the threads that I have read and studied.
No one can predict the future. But I hope to be trading for many years to come.
