I've been trading for only two years but I have found that sticking to your system rigidly should entirely erase emotions because you should know beforehand exactly how much you are risking on each trade and what the consequences are.
Unfortunately, the nature of the internet means that any forum on any subject attracts an element of disagreeable people and it can't be regulated... The best defence is to not get dragged in yourself and not to allow yourself to be baited.
I think John meant that you can have your system created for 30 to 60 dollars.... I'm sure not everyone wil run of with your idea. However, 30 to 60 dollars is a lot to some (including me) I too have a manual system that works and am also looking for an interested coder.
Hi skg, thanks for your interest. there are no indicators used and I can't send anything yet either because I haven't made enough posts... I'll get back to you when I can send you a message. Thanks again.
I think that new traders hop about from one system to the next hoping to find the holy grail instead of researching a strategy and sticking to it rigidly. There are many winning approaches, find one that suits your style and research it to the nth degree.
The OP was right about trend trading, I have a couple of strategies but the least stressful is trading the longer term trends. Most of us are guilty of zooming in on too small a timeframe in search of immediate profits.
