sounds like your update may be corrupted. I would copy all of your indicators, templates, and profiles to another directory, reinstall mt4 then copy all of your indicators back to see if the problem still exists.

levels is a setting used only when the indicator plots in a separate window. For moving averages it does not apply. Level just draws a horizontal line at whatever level you input.
