merlin replied Apr 10, 2006the short answer is yes, forex is a zero sum game. but when you factor in the spread and commissions it is a negative sum game, as is all commodity trading. the only major non-zero sum game is the stock market. unless someone can think of another?

merlin replied Mar 29, 2006you could be a prop trader, where you trade for a firm, usually with a mix of yours and their money. sort of like the FXCM program mentioned above. you can grind out a good living via scalping and it can lead to much bigger things for you. good luck!
