np buddy. Another very good post, I agree 100%. Naked charts keep me focused on PA, it is amazing how trading becomes like second nature once you simplify things. Good trading to you.
Why do 99% of the people who wants to be traders fail?

I became profitable when I started using the higher timeframes to identify direction but used the lower timeframes to steal my pips. If you identify a 200 pip potential trade on a weekly chart, use the lower timeframes to take cheeky chunks on the ...

Your post will strike a chord with most traders here, novice and experienced. Greed and the fear of losing potential profits (closing trades early) is something you have to find a way to overcome in order to become consistenetly profitable. FWIW I ...

Always use stops. Like others have said here learn to read the charts and the markets. Take what the markets give you, don't try to extract what you need, that is a hiding to nothing. Set your stops, my maximum loss is ALWAYS 1%, it is a business ...

Study priceaction and support and resistance until your eyes bleed. Forget fundis, news and economics it is all utter rubbish. The markets are rigged anyway. Good luck.

Only half true — "The key to making money is to stop listening to the crap that's spouted on here, especially when it comes to indicators and trading systems, none of them work. The only thing that works is reaction to an event." You cannot ...
What is your weekly return?
- jag1966 replied Sep 10, 2011
I agree. I have started advising the people I teach to get used to turning a 3k demo account into at least 10k in a month following strict rules, hard stops hard targets risking no more than 10% a trade. Keep doing that until you can do it with your ...

Thanks for the respect, back at you but I promise you you are over complicating things. Candles along with fractals do tell you everything, you can forget all the other sh*te. I don't trade CHF pairs but TA screamed the moves this week. P.S. TA ...

You talk a good talk for someone who started in January this year. I know you have an exceptional intelligence, you have said so yourself. Unfortunately most of us aren't as clever as you and have to rely on a pretty much mechanical system to take ...

All fine and good with a few pennies a pip, it will mess with your head when you try to do it with 50 or 100 lots. Set and forget then walk away, let the stops and tp's take the strain. If 8 of 10 are winners who cares about the 2 losers?

If you take the time to work out why your stops always seem to get hit and why your targets never seem to get hit in a straight line you can adjust your stops and tp's accordingly. It can be done. Price never moves in a straight line for a reason. ...

Actually I conceed that anyone that can trade profitably without a stoploss is potentially a far better trader than those that need stops, however VERY FEW people will ever get to that stage and I am certain if they try they will fail and fail with ...

If you cannot trade profitably WHILST using stops you shouldn't even consider trading with real money, others DO trade profitably using stops, you just haven't cracked it yet.
