I'm newer to cable. What's the correlation between ftse and cable if any?

It was breaking news on bloomberg. Soon as I heard it, I went short. Who knows if that's why or anything, but the timing was uncanny. Wondering what effect the UK emergency budget will have on this pair. Sounds like some serious painful changes.

I am short GU and wondering what effect this emergency budget will have. Think it was the FT that said it was biggest in a generation. On bloomberg they were talking about how capital gains tax might go from around 13% to 40 or 50%.......holy crap.

I'm looking for possible dollar weakness as it gained against the yuan today, which is the exact opposite of what the rally was about. Might pullback some. Of course you have the emergency budget UK later too.
