okay so you got USD JPY 1 USD = x JPY plug in 78 as a rate 1 USD = 78 JPY = USDJPY or USD-JPY so always one dollar for x amount of yen. same with yuro. 1 euro for x amount of dollars USD/JPY though.. WTF.. it implies its per 1 yen. same with ...

well the dominant does not matter they are just doing EUR USD meaning EUR = USD 1 EUR = x USD plug in rate 1.3 1 EUR = 1.3 USD = (EURUSD) or even EUR-USD (Bloomberg) EUR/USD though wtf

sup so euro/dollar rate is 1.3xxx wouldnt it make sense if it was dollar/eur (USDEUR) as its 1.3xxx dollars PER 1 yuro ?
