Div, I have some of the same concerns as Rcwso. Why is point 2 is Rcwso's chart not considered a swing high and also the 1.3555 area? Hope I am not boring you with the repetitive questions.

d4n, I have been on the wrong side of trades a couple of times when I have taken trades after 1700 GMT. Price tends to drift and go flat after 1700 GMT, at least the last couple of weeks it has. Better to stick to 1400-1700 GMT as Divergence ...

Thanks — Thanks for the explanation. Yes, the real difficulty is in situations like the one shown in chart 2 and I guess the best thing to do is stay out as you suggested. Again, thanks.

So if a pullback develops before wave 3 reaches 56 pips in the above case, you won't trade the continuation of that pullback?

Thanks — Divergence, I was not trading at that time. I was referring to post #69 where you have marked lower lows and lower highs and it seems that you did not consider the pullback mentioned in my previous post as a pullback. Hence posted the ...

Hi Divergence, Slightly confused about the swings and pullbacks. In the attached chart, why is the part marked with the arrow not considered a pullback? Thanks for all the good info provided in this thread.

Hi Divergence, Nice thread this. When you talk about wave patterns, how would you qualify a swing. Sometimes there is a 15 pip swing and then a 1 bar pullback, then a continuation. Would such small swings be considered as a 123? Thanks
