the downside of lowering the time frame is that in a month of heavy losses, your equity probably will go down faster and the end result might still be the same. without knowing how you enter and exit its impossible to give advice imo. good luck.

my broker has a spread of 2.7 pips on G/A at the moment, so very decent. sorry Cm7 bro, I couldn`t wait for you to get out of bed. sold G/A @ 1.7830 before the weekend gap closes.

hi Ozy and Checkz, must admit its all a bit confusing. In this post no 3 Cm7 exits a trade if 4ema crosses ema15 without waiting for the candle to close. I understood it to be the case with the exits of the trades throughout the whole thread. ...

your exit is NOT according to the gorilla rules. you should exit once the 4ema touches the 15ema. that's why the losses are often far smaller than 30 pips, more like 7-`10 pips. you can wait until the candle closes and there is nothing wrong with ...

it will be chaos; nobody can agree on the exact entry, management and exit............. I`m afraid you Cm7 should stay on as the leader of the gorilla/dragon pack; maybe an enormous responsibility?

Cm7 is asking for charts/comments on G/J. it looks like people are responding according to the gorilla method. I think G/J is only traded the dragon way, so everybody should reply accordingly.

EJ: it looks like you`re not following the rules here. the 4ema was above the 15ema when you entered??? or if you entered the first candle touching the 30ema, you should have closed the trade on the next candle with the arrow, when the 4ema crossed ...

Halifax clients money was also segregated in a trust with a tier 1 Australian bank. segregation of clients money means nothing if the broker can still access the funds and use it for other purposes. I thought ASIC toughened the rules around use of ...

definitely not a smart move to open an account with an Australian broker. you might never see your money again. Halifax in administration recently and clients waiting if they get anything back. at least in EU your money is safe.
