jesperweber replied Oct 20, 2009Thanks. Is that EA publicly available? I can't find it through Google, and it has a different name from the one you included in the zip file for this thread.

jesperweber replied Oct 20, 2009Actually... — Hi Lion King, I think I understand how to enter using the Tail, what I am not clear about is when to exit. On a cross on the low timeframe? On a cross on the high timeframe? Profit target in profit only? Hard stop loss? Trailed? ...

jesperweber replied Oct 16, 2009What you want to trade is price action, not the indicator action. The indicator is just a visual prop to help you interpret price action. Thus, if the two lines move together you need to make a decision on whether you have enough confidence in the ...

jesperweber replied Oct 15, 2009MM & RM — It's funny you mention money and risk management skills. The beauty of Ichimoku trading is that the cloud shows you very clearly where the risk of the trade setup is, and the profit potential can be estimated from looking at ...

jesperweber replied Oct 14, 2009I put together a template as shown in the presentation. It requires the custom indicator, both are attached if anybody wants to look at their own charts while reading the article on the Synergy method. By the way, the red line in the TDI seems to be ...

jesperweber replied Oct 14, 2009I guess that depends on the timeframe you usually trade. For M1 or M5 entries the H1 tail should work fine for overall direction, but if you trade for example M15 entries then I would look at least to H4 for confirmation. Obviously, if your entries ...

jesperweber replied Oct 14, 2009Well, the difference I see from the indicators made available here for MT4 is that they either work on offline charts or follow the time axis on the online chart. These are "real" time-independent charts.

jesperweber replied Oct 14, 2009If you look at the H4 chart, it has just retraced the last eight hours of bearish action and come back to the upper trend line for the timeframe. There is a widening triangle formation, which I interpret as a bullish pattern when entered from below. ...

jesperweber replied Oct 8, 2009Google for SIGTrader, which provides an MT4 platform with "lfx" (liteforex) charts. Those are basket indicators of individual currencies. The charts are real-time, but in my experience the demo platform is slow. Longer timeframes are no problem.
