srt replied Dec 9, 2013Sugar: Nothing bullish yet in the chart but after the long fall, I'll be watching for any signs of a bounce higher.

srt replied Dec 9, 2013Yes Olu, on the weekly we're right in the area where previous support failed so could have a problem here. I'll just watch it if it should get lower to see how hard it's falling.

srt replied Dec 9, 2013Nat. Gas: I should have posted this one a while ago. I'd look to add if we get a decent pullback. I've been long for a couple weeks.

srt replied Dec 9, 2013Yes, struggling a little up here. I'll be passing on any shorts though as I don't want to fight the bullish fundamentals of cocoa. I'll be waiting for a bigger correction to possibly get back in long. I exited my last long around 2800 so would like ...

srt replied Dec 7, 2013Hi NV, Thanks for the insights of the market makers. While it may not pertain to everyday trading, it's good to know some of the mechanics of how it operates behind the scenes. Nice job of trading. Reviewing your trades it really shows the ...

srt replied Dec 5, 2013Yes Olu, closed right on support with 2nd bearish day in a row. Tomorrow is decision day. A close below 106 probably sends it to test the previous low & possibly new lows. Needs to close above 112 for the bulls to get any traction.

srt replied Dec 5, 2013My guess, 1 monitor. Longer-term trader doesn't need to be watching all markets @ the same time. Just scroll through them one at a time.

srt replied Dec 4, 2013Just start your fib tool at the point a swing started, hold down & drag your curser to the end of the swing, release curser. Now fib #s will show percentage of retracement on the full swing just completed.

srt replied Dec 4, 2013Coffee Update: Traded above 112 resistance but sold off hard. Still above support but today's action pretty ugly for any bulls.

srt replied Dec 4, 2013Good call Olu. Now it's rallied above the area I thought was a double bottom a few days ago that failed. I'll continue to hold my 2 bullish positions. As bad as it looked yesterday, the weekly still looks OK if this area holds as support.

srt replied Dec 4, 2013Just a couple comments: 1-Please read all posts again. You must have missed part of NV's comments. 2-If a newbie takes a trade without knowing why he/she took the trade or how to manage it, it'll be a good lesson if it's a loss. Thanks NV for your ...

srt replied Dec 3, 2013Bulls still have the edge until the new 4H swingpoint @ 1.6341 is broken to the downside. Failed to make a new high so looking a bit tired.

srt replied Dec 3, 2013On the fundamental side, I wouldn't be looking to buy hogs or cattle in the near future. With corn prices low now & pork/beef prices relatively high, producers are increasing herd sizes as their margins are pretty good now. Producers can lock in a ...

srt replied Dec 2, 2013Olu, Seems every time I look at the US $ chart, nothing is too clear to me. Looking at the weekly chart, we're slightly below a flip of support/resistance @ 81.50 and I think over the longer-term the US $ is heading lower. When does that happen ? I ...

srt replied Dec 2, 2013EU: This one is more difficult at this point. On the 4H the trend is still up but a pretty flat move higher. On the weekly we're right in the middle of supply & demand after the strong move down so could move either way from here.
