Relativity replied Nov 9, 2015PTe will not be mentioned further in this thread because it only answers 2 questions. Which timeframe to use and what period to use for the swings. We already have an optimal answer of M30 x 7.

Relativity replied Nov 8, 2015It looks great. Thank you. Now we have 4 ppl (including myself) on this, I would really like to wait for Sciurus. I was chatting with LG yesterday and I admit that this thread is actually close to completion. I would cover the key components and not ...

Relativity replied Nov 8, 2015Yes pete thank you. Nice work. I think the histograms are correct but the tables for Swings2Close are not correct and are 100% similar to Swings2Extreme. Maybe the wrong table got extracted, but the histograms do tell me what is required anyway.

Relativity replied Nov 8, 2015Yup take your time to get organized, especially the coding part. The premise is that once you have all the data points and measurements for swings on hand (LG did everything on Excel, which still amazes me to this day), the rest is easier. You can ...

Relativity replied Nov 7, 2015Ok, I will stop here and give this thread a rest until the following happens : Someone else is able to follow the swing construction instructions and send it to me via PM for verification. Please do not share it here as it would defeat the overall ...

Relativity replied Nov 7, 2015C-Stage 2 Backtrack as much as possible, code up (obvious) logic to join up these gaps. Simple thumb of rule is always maintain the lowest/highest extreme and adjust the 'wrong' swing. image image D-Stage 3 (final) There are 6 types of swings ...

Relativity replied Nov 7, 2015Basic Swing Indicator Construction : A-RAW STAGE 1-On a M30 chart, draw boxes worth 7 M30 candles on a rolling basis image 2-For each box, there is a 'major move' within the box. It is the highest high and the lowest low extremes of the box. Mark ...

Relativity replied Nov 1, 2015Well... the random element is random until 'someone' breaks down the logic if he/she finds it. I have no idea who will get this right. For now, I agree the 'big order placed by huge bank' is random due to lack of certain objective information (other ...
Why it is possible to predict price movement?

Relativity replied Nov 1, 2015Perhaps you misunderstood me. We trade ourselves yes. You are close to what I am trying to explain, lets use your example. What I meant is that there has to be a objective difference between the decisions that Trader A VS Trader B. It looks ...

Relativity replied Nov 1, 2015Just an example of manual drawing vs automatic drawing of waves. To kinda prove a point. This particular post from CJ is what intrigued me. After all, I had been doing waves for years, scientifically.

Relativity replied Nov 1, 2015BTW you got the 'brother' part wrong but nvm... haha... =) I get that alot. I don't disagree with you. I am merely offering another way to see things, specifically the scientific way, with probabilities. Allowing room where subjectivity exists and ...

Relativity replied Nov 1, 2015Yes the trader needs to filter out, that means 'additional rules'. What I want to make clear is that these 'additional rules' can be objective. Its just that not everyone has the luxury to get there, and I wish to shorten this learning curve (and ...
Why it is possible to predict price movement?

Relativity replied Nov 1, 2015I understand where you are coming from, but I don't define actual profits as 'best'. I define actual profits as the 'final result', which of coz, is great. My issue is to make clear of every single piece of subjective discretion going on in a ...

Relativity replied Nov 1, 2015Just saying that I am interested in this thread and all its ramblings, but until someone steps up with some kind of scientific basis with statistics and empirical evidence, I am kinda afraid a lot of it would get almost nowhere.... Or maybe its just ...

Relativity replied May 15, 2015Guess this is enough for now... gonna leave the thread here and go back to the drawing board. Maybe v10 will solve the 3rd leg issue better. Part of it is also handling complex corrections for 2nd leg.
