Obviously it will be 100 and 0.001 USD. The name already says it "total units TRADED", not "total units in account".
Point equivalent is calculated with the account size or traded size?

right, it was just my point that people shouldn't think that normally banks are mainly in the financial markets. The biggest position for most typical banks still is the business of lending loans. But of course there are some that specialize in ...

I always thought banks are in the business of lending money to qualified individuals and corporations. Maybe you should check one time the balance sheet of a typical bank. Normally the biggest position is loans and receivables.

not sure where this should be stupid. non-directional trading has existed for years, at least since options have been created. There are lots of strategies with options that don't require you to know the direction of price. Of course creating an ...

My experience in the beginning has been: All the pips I made in the higher time-frames, I gave back in the lower time-frames. My suspicion is that it has something to do with program trading / high frequency trading, which exploit intraday behavior ...

I think you are doing something wrong, if you are overwhelmed by 15 pairs. Which time-frame are you trading? well, if you can do some programming, then you can instruct a software to wait for the bpc and then enter automatically. yeah, good attitude ...

I still disagree. The outcome of the last coin flip does in no way influence the outcome of the next coin flip. I always have a 50% chance of flipping either heads or tails. So guess what, if I flipped heads 100 times in a row then in my next flip I ...

not sure if that is true. The probability calculations change when a normal distribution is NOT assumed. And several papers have pointed out that the markets are not normally distributed, thus you are required to calculate probabilities differently. ...

Of course they can. But what happens when creditors allow their debtors to wipe out the debt? Ever heard of people not being able to pay their mortgages and then the banks just took the assets until they could recoup the money? Well, and this is the ...

not sure what the difficulty is here, math101. Assuming a normal distribution you can calculate it the following way: 1-(10+20)/20 = 33% that take profit is hit, 1-(10+20)/10 = 66% that stop loss is hit. however, the premise of a normal distribution ...

yep, now the only thing we need to accomplish is to be able to identify when the market really overshot. That is the real challenge. Maybe it would be interesting to create a simple formula that calculates the approximate value of one currency vs. ...
