I tried using a Negative Trigger entry method on v17.01. But I did not like the results I was getting and gave up after a few days. Like you said, the pairs keep changing so it defeats the purpose of using a Negative Trigger strategy. I think that ...

I did not place my normal trades for the weekly "2 Baskets System" and weekly "Negative Trigger Method". Instead, I placed my trades with minimum position size. The CCFp indicator has 4 buy GBP suggestions. The vote on the latest Brexit deal will be ...

Out of 10 trading days, you had 8 good winning days. But you had 1 horrible day that ate up all of the profits from the the 8 winners. Just thinking of the possibilities. If you had a SL of -250 pips per basket, your Monday loss off -2145 pips would ...

Chris, did you have more than one basket open on the same account? I don't usually have problems closing using the "Close Basket" button. But on Monday I had the same problem with the EA re-opening baskets. I was running a test and had a basket ...

No holy grail. My goal is to develop a trading method which will produce consistent positive returns over the long term. My target is to achieve 5% profit per month.

My baskets are still running, currently at -950 pips. I had a chance to get out at -100 pips around 14:00 GMT but decided to let them run. The SMA basket is down almost -900 pips. This basket has 5 CAD pairs. CAD had very bad economic news this ...

I have noticed opposite direction trade suggestions but very few times. This morning for example, the EMA basket suggested buy EUR/NZD while the SMA basket suggested sell. When the baskets opened, EUR/NZD opened with basket 1 and closed immediately ...

Correct. For the 3xCMSM Method, we leave the opening time at 08:00 GMT until March 31, because the time is tied to UK open. After March 31, the start time should be 07:00 GMT. In my case for "2 Baskets" and "Negative Trigger" I change my start time ...
