Another bit of advice from how I trade (take it or leave it): I try to close my trades down late Thursday (US Time) to early Friday. If I'm in the positive on Thursday night, I shut it down. I don't like trading Fridays.

I agree. I'm taking profit every time my account hits $3000 for now, so I trade with about a $2k balance with 0.01 lots on a total of 16 pairs. When the market is 'normal' (haha!) I'll be at 0.02 lots.
