Pipmunks - I'm not quite clear on this strategy although I do understand EB, IB, OB, etc. so excuse the question: on the M15 TF do you wait for the same signal to appear or just wait for the 15m pullback to reverse? Your chart posting would suggest ...

stevepatt - thank you, much more for me to learn but I like the simplicity and the 7am H4 TF is perfect for me as long as I can spot good setups like you can.

Steve - I'm not following your analysis here. I see a PB followed by an EB and a short trade (I think). Pls comment and thanks for your posting of charts, very helpful

Until recently I used ATR 14 a lot but now I find pivot points to be better for spotting potential TP areas. I may use it for SL too but I also like a recent swing hi or lo so nothing set in stone for SLs.

The word "simple" in the title often gets misinterpreted, read the 1st 20 pages at least 2X and you will have the nuts & bolts of this strategy. It is simple and it is profitable.

The oldest No-No in trading - don't trade against the trend. I did and took a -50 pip loss last night on the E/Y & lb/$, -100 total. I saw the cross and color change but didn't stay with the trades & paid the price. image

Nice & easy +35 pips, Eur/Jpy. I was up at 3 am for a "trip down the hall" and decided to peek at forex. Entered @ 130.25, TP#1 hit @130.02; moved to BE +5 but TP#2 wasn't hit by 8am so I closed early, +12. image

True, but I think the E/$ is a better choice for the NY open.

I just clicked on the paperclip and the attachments opened up; you''ll then have to search for it. FF had some issues earlier this am but I think that's over now.

I spent a great deal of time reading the 3 pdf s of phx's trades. I decided last night that I would do as he does, H1, Eur/USd only. The big difference is that I only trade NY (need my beauty sleep) so I may not get the same big results but today ...

A month ago or maybe even longer someone posted that in using the original eelfranz strategy they made xxx(I don't remember the number) pips & 40% added to their account. I PM 2 people in this forum but it wasn't their post - I would love to see it ...

My personal preference is regular candlesticks. BigE in post #1 or 2 said to use HA because they are less stressful, not valid in my opinion as watching sports is more stressful for me than watching charts. Later the APB came into play. But when ...

At the risk (to myself) at contradicting the expert I thought a Marabozu was a candle with an exceptionally large body with little or no wicks whereas the PB is a very small body with one obviously large wick. I have this in my PA notes but from ...
