the myfxbook ea does update like clockwork for me, cant understand why its not working for you. i have it default 5 min and it just works.

thats easy, run a myfxbook ea. if account does not update = there is an issue. in myfxbook settings you can set the warn time, i have mine at 10 minutes. that also helps if platform freezes, or broker server does not send ticks anymore.
