ODL stops at 1600 ET on Friday but then they open at 1600 on Sunday, so I guess there is some give and take there. My Alpari Demo account stops and starts at 1700.

I have an idea, let's spend billions on every "what if" doomsday scenario that comes our way. I'm not saying that there is a conspiracy that global warming is man made, but when I see billions being poured into an industry, and yes GW is an ...

My broker does it this way. I have no control over it. As for the valid TL break, you are right. It remains to be seen. What I try to do is anticipate possible TL breaks on higher TFs and then use a lower TF to more finely tune my entry. It doesn't ...

I thought I point out one other thing I have noticed recently. When you have a valid TD TL break and a MACD cross at the same time, there seems to be a higher chance of a nice sized breakout. Of course, the higher the time frame the more accurate ...

I haven't used his Pivots, but I do use TD Trend Line breakouts as my main tool to time my entries. I also use his system to place Fib levels. I haven't used his pivots but will definitely look into them as his other T/A tools seem to be very ...

Don't despair. I know how you feel. I was down 25% last week and ended up making almost all of it back this week. My Paper trading is doing great however, up 43% in three weeks. Anyway, one thing I have found that helps me is to not over trade. I ...

I was more referring to the wizetrade platform, not the system itself. Anyway, I don't have a 12 hour TF in MT4. I guess 3 H4s will do. Another once daily trade I have had some success with is to enter at the previous day's low (short) or high ...

It sounds like you are a wizetrade user. Is that correct? I tried them for awhile but always fell back on MT4. Anyway, thanks for the tip. I'll check it out.

Does anyone look at the COT report from the CFTC? This might give us a hint at the long term direction on this pair.

sometimes I stay so focused on EU I forget about GU and GJ. Then I switch over to GBP and forget about EU.

EU seems to be caught in between 2500 and 2600 since yesterday. Anyone have an idea if it will break south and follow GU and GJ? TIA

That makes sense. It's the Anti-Hedge strategy from Jacko's thread. I haven't used that successfully yet.

I don't normally leave positions open over the weekend. In fact, I had an open EJ long that I had to call the broker to close on Friday because their MT4 servers weren't working. That would have netted over 200 pips if I hadn't closed it, always a ...

Mind the Gap — Does anyone know how often the gap on market open Sunday is closed on GU? I have heard that it is something like 80% of the time over on the EU thread, but didn't know if it applied over here as well. I had a hedge position over ...
