Im only scalping. I just find it impossible to figure out the direction of gold consistently. Its like he market waits for my to open an order and acts against me, and it does it consistenly...thats really facinating. But scalping works fine ...

Thanks for your post. I have many of the same ideas for one of my accounts. I trade 0.01 lots per 500 US balance (500:1 account). So if I have 1000 US I have an expert advisor that will open trades with 0.02 lots. I have a fixed TP of a 1$ move. ...

I like to use usdjpy as guidance, so if usdjpy starts going up I expect gold to drop. Todays move down on usdjpy already retraced more than 50% so now I expect gold to go down to 1267 next. Doesnt always work though.

Short 1268 with SL 1274/76 ish. TP below 1253. If it goes down now I think it wil go...DOWN, but always expect the unexpected
