mike w replied Aug 3, 2010Talk about a pain in the ass. lol I'll be re-entering long on the aud/usd again if I see another decent price on it. Nice hourly setups across the board right now.

mike w replied Aug 3, 2010That's exactly it too my man. Running with the trend will make the register ring a lot more than going countertrend just because it may look top-heavy.

mike w replied Aug 3, 2010lol That'd be pretty funny without a doubt. I don't mess with gartley patterns or anything of that sort, I just deal with price action in trends. Right now the trend is up and the price action was too so I went with it. If it reverses, I'll do the ...

mike w replied Aug 3, 2010Well that's that. The difference an hour and some news makes eh? lol There isn't a damn thing worth trading on the 5 minute charts to make up for it either. out at a loss of 23 pips.

mike w replied Aug 3, 2010lol Hey Boy, I just saw your post on the J16 thread and I'm thinking the same on the aussie. In at .9120 with a S/L at .9097. The hourly close just backed up the thought on a bullish view and that gave me the push needed to want to trade it.

mike w replied Aug 3, 2010No, I didn't fool with it last night as we had another hockey game. It was my basic position, albeit a little larger considering that my S/L was 10 pips and then nothing within 15 minutes.

mike w replied Aug 3, 2010Hey what's happenin brother? I don't trade the eur/chf my man. It's too touchy all the time for me to even want to. That's just my experience though, and it's not saying that it can't be traded; It's just not worth it to me to do so. And heck yeah ...

mike w replied Aug 2, 2010Yeah, I keep a few different price feeds that all close at different times for the 4 hour charts. One can look phenomenal while another would close as a bar that I wouldn't even pay attention to in the least.

mike w replied Aug 2, 2010I know nothing about what you posted my man so I apologize but I can't put a view on that. I'm sure somebody else on here would be able to; I just don't have the experience necessary to talk about it lol I follow price action with trends and that's ...

mike w replied Aug 2, 2010Setups like the ones that are indicated by the red arrow are a LOT easier to manage than countertrend setups. The ones that have an arrow that aren't pinbars are two bar pins. Some are just nice looking bullish IBs as well. Not everybody trades this ...

mike w replied Aug 2, 2010Look at which way price is going on that chart my man. I'm all about pin bars, but there's no need to take them against a 10,000 man army. I like taking pins that are part of that army, not against it.

mike w replied Aug 2, 2010So many opportunies my man! It's great. I typically won't look for the first sign of continuation before entering although if I see a pin being held at the support or resistance of the 10 or 21, I'll put more weight onto the position. These setups ...

mike w replied Aug 2, 2010Phil talks about the "warzone" all the time. I'll enter when two things are present and ONLY then will I enter trades. The first and most important reason that I will take a trade is momentum. I will, under no circumstances, take a trade if there ...

mike w replied Aug 2, 2010Here's the importance of a stop loss ladies and gents. I got taken out of this one for 8 pips and hopped back in at 86.76 because I like the looks of the 4 hour setup. My stoploss is at B/E on the trade from 86.76 as of now. Losses are part of this ...

mike w replied Aug 1, 2010That's it my man. As long as you learn something, no matter how minimal, from every loss/mistake, you'll keep expanding as a trader. That's just like every facet of life really. Thanks Josh and I hope you have an awesome week brother!

mike w replied Aug 1, 2010Hey what's happenin brother? Sorry I didn't get back to ya till today, but I haven't really noticed too much of a difference in the trades. I have however noticed that once we see a really high level on the SMAangle and then we see it pulling back, ...
