Just food for thought - why risk ~145 pips for 5-10 more? The answer starts with a capital 'G'.

My short is still in play, and we do still have a downward trendline forming on the H1. I have 10 pips locked in for profit. However, the part highlighted in blue better start acting as resistance soon, or it could blasting back up. The news at 8:30 ...

Markets don't move in straight lines - at least not for very long. It's healthy for it to retrace back up after 4 hours of falling. As long as it doesn't close above 94.20, it should be fine.

Ah - that's good to know. So you'll probably come out ok then.
I just moved my stop to B/E so risk-free trade now from 94.42. I see it's almost a triple top on the H4 (deviation of 3 pips), so if price comes back up to take out my stop - odds are ...USD/JPY Discussion

I'm sure you know it now, but if you got a little over-leveraged and the account is hurting - look for good exits that protect the account, don't worry about profits this go around. If you protect the account, you can always re-enter.

It'll just make your short positions be that much sweeter when it goes your way. It's at a good resistance level now and with tomorrow being Friday, there should be some profit taking going on, and then the bandwagon will jump on and push it ...

No worries - yes, it was an exact science I'm sure some very smart people would program their way to riches by now. That's why I prefer to scale in, less pressure of picking the 'best' entry. Sometimes you get it first pick, sometimes on your ...

Hey! I like to draw fibs on the H4/H1 after a big move. Since the jacko method requires entries on pullbacks to the 50% fib for best entry, I find moves that haven't retraced much or at all, as they present the best opportunities. They aren't too ...

Yeah, typically I don't like to jump out of a position so quick - but if that's how the market wants to behave today, I'll take it. I just shows the strength of the rally isn't over. Also - I know it goes without saying - but I trade just a little ...
