Yes I saved that attachment to my favourites the day you posted it. The reduction in drawdown was due to the BE @: level 5 parameter. I am forward testing symmetry 21, 22, 22a Symmetry2, on 3 platforms. You mentioned V24 which I have not tested yet, ...

OK. It is recovering but to reach margin call at level 4 I suppose it is likely to occur again. Have you picked 1:100 leverage because that is what you prefer to use on a live account?

bauta, looking at the $3000 demo account you posted shortly before Christmas, it looks like you closed out some positions manually at level 4, 0.80 on EU. Is that correct? url

Yes it is doing well, but mine went to level 9, 2.56 Lots which is scary.

I think Brokers do this sort of thing because most clients do not do anything about it and it is worth it financially for the Broker to cheat their clients in this way. This is an extreme case though. I used to like trading the weekend gap with ...

Demo results for this short week. I was testing Scalpgrid on EG too but decided to concentrate on EU.

That is a good idea, I remember last year the markets were thinly traded but there were some surprising moves despite lack of any news. A good time for testing. Happy holidays.

It will be interesting to see how the account does with a relatively low starting balance. Not many of us can raise 50k to trade with. GBP/JPY is to scary for me to trade.

Thanks for the updated version bauta, I am forward testing symmetry 021, symmetry 022 BE@5, scalpgrid 022 BE@5 EU ad EG and symmetry2, so will open a new demo to test 22a.

You are welcome MG. Your request is even more relevant this week as Friday is a bank holiday and the markets are closed so we would need to manually set the EA Continue parameter to false and set take profit to 0.1 on Thursday afternoon or before. I ...

EUR/GBP has been in a range since march of this year, of course the spread is larger than EUR/USD. I would demo it first though. Regarding the magic number, if testing symmetry and scalper on the same platform I use 301 and 302, you could do the ...

No, I used myfxbook for many years and had 7 running this year and 1 by 1 they stopped updating. Someone suggested I try FxBlue, which I did not like at first, now I am used to it I much prefer it. What about you, are you testing EG, where is you ...

Hi Bauta, If the basket is at level 5, 4 buys and 1 sell, 021 uses the sell to close the whole basket, therefore needing less of a retrace than 022. If I had the choice I would choose lower drawdown and lower profit over higher drawdown and higher ...

Bauta, something I have noticed with the version of 103. 022 with BE parameter is that it requires a bigger retrace to close the basket. I am using it live and am at level 4 on the buy side. Yes it has been closing 0.01 sells on the way down so ...

I have been running scalpgrid on demo for the last 4 days, kept it running during FOMC yesterday. Default settings, grid increments 20, target 10p. I have continue set to No because when this set closes I am going to use the version that has the ...

I look forward to bautas view but in my opinion it will not make a lot of difference. Level 5 = at least 0.16 Lots and the difference between + 1 cent and - 1 cent is a fraction of a Pip. Even closing the basket at + 1 cent might still end up a ...

"Now, capital needed is 25K instead of 50K" That is great news. Will it work on a live account? I would feel a bit calmer using it than the version I am using live now.
