Another attempt at trading the 5 minute charts. EURCAD, about an hour into London session. Trade is moving away from support, round number, and with the hourly. 4hour shows a bit of a range at the moment. EDIT: set the TP near the ADR.

I've marked the one I would have taken. I'm not quite brave enough to take the straddle of the shadow! And I see you've had good feedback from Cj.cn My trading is ok, I've mostly stopped jumping in, but I'm not really profitable either. Mostly ...

Hi mate, how's it going for you? I think I'm ok for knowing what I need to do, I've got all Strat's posts on 5minute trading saved, and some others like Beyondthesea. It's mostly about making it work with the time I have, especially when daylight ...

Well August wasn't a productive month, one clear winner, one that should've been, and the rest break even or losses. Nothing is really trending, makes it hard to get a good swing trade going, or even take little bites here and there. Must remember ...

Thanks, I always seem to miss the moves and don't really want to be tied to the screen all hours. I'll keep trying it when I'm able, see if I can get more success.

5Min trading, EURCAD. Realised there's not much room to resistance thorough. Edit: Stuffed up position sizing on the AUDUSD trade, entered another trade to bring it up to the risk percentage I meant. Edit 2: Moved to break even at 10 pips, with an ...

For you and the others who can trade the London session, do you think it's feasible to only trade the 2 hours after London open on 15 minute or less? I haven't had much joy trying to do it, and I'm really wondering if it's worth persisting. I can ...

It looks ok to me, but it'd be helpful to upload the next two time frames up (daily and weekly in this case) to know what you're looking at. I have levels near where you've got them, but that's going by my charts.

Note that while the boss and worker have closed higher, the big boss is yet to close. That said, I will be looking for longs on GBP because the boss and worker have closed above the last high.

What you've drawn there looks pretty good, although a big round number like 2.0000 is likely to act as support and resistance and I don't see anything you've drawn around there. Cj.cn looks to have pointed out the area I was eying. While his entry ...

I've put a dot underneath the entries I would've been comfortable with. Most of the entries you've highlighted are perfectly valid, but I've tagged the ones I would've been comfortable taking. Bear in mind I've only ever lost money on lower time ...

Breakout pullback continuation type trade short. M15 to show more detail. EDIT: Stopped out about half an hour after London open.

Here's my take on the first one, see picture for what numbers. 1. Good entry, well done. 2. I don't see an entry here, too close to support and the candle has a nasty little wick. 3. Similar to 2, nasty wick and it doesn't close strongly below ...

I took pretty much the same trade, but mine triggered on the next candle. I'm targeting the weekly resistance, but may take profit if London doesn't move much in the first couple of hours. Also rather pleased to say it's only my 2nd (I think) trade ...

Moved the stop to break even. Might bite me in the arse when the day closes and spreads jump. Also realised I put the lot size to nearly double my 2% position sizing, so this trade was more like a 4% risk. Oops.
