Adilius07 replied Nov 3, 2010So those 4 all have different closing times? If I trade on Oanda but look at those 4 feeds I will have 4 times higher chance of spotting a setup?

Adilius07 replied Nov 3, 2010Hello Autumm, do you think checking 3-4 hours after the daily bar closes is still ok? Strong setups break fast many times... but yes I think I should give it a month of a trial maybe...

Adilius07 replied Nov 3, 2010Why? For me I don't care when it breaks if I have my orders set and waiting. So I need to see a candle close to make a descision to set my orders or not.. Daily closes at 3 am local time

Adilius07 replied Nov 3, 2010Looks good yes. But 2pm is a job time! Middle of the day, how could I make it consistantly with my job? Really hard I have to be in a hurry - which is not good... ehh really sad... One thing I can think of is having an assistant or something... to ...

Adilius07 replied Nov 3, 2010Hello Pinbar, this is what I understand a H4 bar ending (fxpro) for NYC time. 17:00 21:00 1:00 5:00 9:00 13:00 In bold are those times when they probably are free to trade it. Other times the are either at work or on the way back from work... 5am ...

Adilius07 replied Nov 3, 2010I have a little off topic question again. How do you guys manage to trade H4? I see some real killer setups and often! I feel like I could catch them too... but those intervals are really hard to follow. Do you wake up at night to check your charts? ...

Adilius07 replied Nov 3, 2010Ok, thanks. I think we can say objectively that 1) Fast good executions 2) Unstable platform 3) Primitive charting 4) Good spreads 5) Any granularity 6) Any deposit amount. Ok, there is no ideal one, I understand, so maybe I should try with a few ...

Adilius07 replied Nov 3, 2010Well, if they could not add those stupid TF's since 2004 haha what else could be said? Good execution? How can you execute if your platform will not log you in??? Scary! I'm not changing brokers, I have TOS for equity, just looking for one for FX... ...

Adilius07 replied Nov 3, 2010Mike, may I ask, even if it could have closed above those lows why would you still take it. There is no space, a tight choppy consolidation. Is it ok to take trades like this in consolidation? image

Adilius07 replied Nov 2, 2010Thanks Jonny, I will review more firms for now. I just don't like the fact they use this approach, you know, giving you 5 second charts, so they can "afford" having those super executions... I believe that adding a weekly chart is a super simple ...

Adilius07 replied Nov 2, 2010Thanks Jonny, I see, and also IBFX is now also 50:1. There are so many really. Still thinking if I could handle this Oanda charting problem, if yes I will go with them maybe. Do you have a live account already?

Adilius07 replied Nov 2, 2010I agree, the higher TF the higher odds for us... you can use Periodicon indicator to get you 6,8,12 or whatever TF with MT4. There was a discussion how to use on some other thread, try to search for it. Hope this helps

Adilius07 replied Nov 2, 2010Yeah.. still the reality of Oanda is kinda disappointing.. they want you to trade 5 sec chart but not a Weekly chart... why? Because the odds are much higher you gonna loose everything with 5 sec chart than with a Weekly chart.. and of course much ...
