I made this call the night before the fact using momentums, among other things. Momentums can be predictive if you know what to look for.

Correlations are likely to change when that happens. We need to be looking for that. Carry trades are not dead. They are just shifting to alternate pairs. For now shorting the USD is a carry trade.

It will run into overwhelming resistance along the way up as it is now. Things have to settle down and sentiment reversal is needed for that. I think it is asking too much as things are presently. Nice chart work. Keep them coming and teach us.
